5 Things I'm Thankful For #38

It's nice to see you again, blogspot. It's been awhile. :)

I believe it would be a great way to end July with my thankyou list.

1. X. For your patience, understanding, love, etc. I love you. :)

2. Run For Light. It was truly a memorable experience! I seldom join fun-runs, but last Saturday's run was really fun. Additional thankyou to the continuous rainshowers.

3. Ellen Degeneres. You filled my Sunday morning with laughter and laughter.

4. White Collar. Covert Affairs. Royal Pains. Suits. Looking forward to another great catch-up weekend with Neal Caffrey, Annie Walker, Hank, Harvey Specter and Mike Ross. (Oh, I'm sad though that Donna's leaving. I hope they bring her back!)

Please bring her back... :(

5. Brains On Fire. You ignite the passion within me. :)

Yey, got this book from TheBookDepository

So there. What about you, got anyone to thank today? Go ahead, don't let this moment pass you by.

Have a great Wednesday!

What's Your Favorite Poison?

My bestfriend and I were in High Street few weeks ago, looking for a tambay place. She suggested 'Texas Roadhouse'. And even before a blink of an eye, I exclaimed, 'Ayoko ng peanuts'.

After saying that, we both realized how labo I was. Anyway, if you don't get this, consider it an inside joke na lang. :)

Well, reason I shared that is I wanted to discuss drinks

What's your favorite alcoholic drink?

The deadly Jose!

My favorite beer now is Corona!

I have yet to try my bestfriend's current love, Dirty Lemonade.

For me, it would definitely be Amaretto Sour. Hands down. (Oh, I miss Sidebar's 3 for P120 cocktails!). I just love the sourness of this drink that makes my eyes squint after a sip.
Amaretto Sour!

Next would be my Jack-Coke mix. :)

Oh, didn't have a picture of Jack. But this is good, too. :)

I used to avoid Mojitos because the first glass i had before was too leafy and minty that it felt like I was brushing my teeth. Basta weird. But when I tried this someplace else, it was sweeter the second time around. Love. <3

Why am I sharing these? Wala lang. I just felt like blogging.

How about you, what's your favorite drink?

5 Things I'm Thankful For #37

They say the only constant thing in this world is Change. I agree.

And I have several things and persons to thank for bringing out the positive changes in me these past months.

1. David's Salon. Ensogo. Yes, this is mababaw but I am really loving my new hair color. :)

2. E. for the gym subsidy, which is one reason I am enjoying the treadmill these days.

3. My iPhone & the treadmill. I seem to be on drugs when I have earphones hooked and I'm on a treadmill. I sometime fight the urge to dance (I really don't know how to dance) while running when Moves Like Jagger is playing.

4. The rain. For bringing in the cold bed weather. Thus, making it easier for me to sleep at night.

5. Twitter. For allowing my endless RT's. Hahahaha!

My Current Playlist

This playlist is just on repeat the whole day.

I don't think I'll get tired of listening to these songs for months. Hahaha!

I just get more energetic and hyped when listening to these songs. These are my current 'happy' songs.

And since we're on the topic of Maroon 5, who's watching their concert in September? I saw the prices and it's bad! Freakin' expensive! And I only know one song. Hahaha!

From Ticketnet

Positive Thought #12

Best Of Me

I've read all books by Nicholas Sparks.

I read his latest book (Best Of Me) over the weekend when I had nothing to do. I finished the book in two days. Yes, I was reading while eating, on my way to work, before I go to sleep, when I wake up...

I find this book so interesting yet very sad. Similar to his other books, the plot involves the death of one of its main characters. And it just pains me to finish the book knowing it wouldn't be the happy ending I imagined the book to have.

Well, moral of the story, if you love someone, tell them because there would be times there'd be no turning back anymore.

5 Things I'm Thankful For #36

Saying that these past two months haven't been easy on me would be the biggest understatement of 2012.

But really, it would have been so much harder if it weren't for these wonderful people around me. :)

1. My bestfriend. For the record-breaking 6-hour talk we had one Friday night. For always being just a bbm/tweet away from me. (Although I am still waiting for that third wheel invite. Hahaha!)

2. My other best friend & the boyfriend. For being my running-mates. For spending hours in Starbucks Taytay (the place to be!) listening to my scattered thoughts.

3. Kitkat. For our sa-wakas-natuloy-din date. Who would have thought we talked about those topics, no? Hahaha! Mauulit un, promise! :)

4. T & G. (Naks! Next time I see this, dapat nasa wedding invite na. Hahaha!). For letting me third-wheel in several of your dates. I feel so intrusive already. Hahaha!

5. My dear officemate. For leading me to a healthier lifestyle. For inspiring me to become a better person. For being the object of my envy because you're so tingting-thin already. And for pushing me to color my hair. :)

There you go. My list. Thank you so much.

P.S. Hopefully I get to thank more people and be more grateful for several other things over the weekend. *keeping my fingers crossed*

VOID Watch!

It was love at first sight.
Yes, I fell in love with a watch.
I love to have this watch on my wrist, (or the boyfriend's if he wants one, too.)

And now I have a chance to get this for FREE!!! How awesome is that, right? :)

Well, as much as I'd like to keep this promo to myself (less competition, higher chances of winning, right?), I'm still sharing because I know sharing is loving. (Ano daw?!?)

Anyway, without further ado... Check out Apples and Dumplings VOID Giveaway for the details. :)

I really hope I win!!!
