I Want One!

I think I need another watch. Am I the only one who only owns ONE watch? Yes, I have one. I  have been wearing the same watch for more than five years now. :)

I can't decide though, which one.

Both looks great.

Can you be my Santa and give me any of these please? :)

I want to keep this short and simple. :)

2. ex-IRemit Friends. For replying to our Christmas Party invite. Yipee! I'm really excited about this. :)

3. Holidays. Who doesn't love the holidays? A long weekend coming up. And another non-working Monday the weekend after. Woohoo!

  33. Think of 5 more things to add on this list. Something that is really out of my usual routine. Something that I really want. Something that needs to be in this list. :)

I'm Currently Reading...

I can't seem to let go of this book.
While cooking dinner, I was reading this.
While waiting for the elevator to open, I was reading this.
While having my oatmeal breakfast, I have this on my right hand.
While on my way to work, I don't care if I get a headache for reading in a moving vehicle.
I just love it!
Already nearing the end, but I think this is one book I can re-read over and over again.
I am learning a lot from Tony Hsieh!
I will try to apply some of these learning in my workplace. :)

Another HAPPINESS book.
Don't you just love being Happy? :)
I hope this book is as entertaining as Hsieh's.
I think I just have to update my "Things To Do Before 30" list.
I need to add something book-related.

Btw, I first encountered Tony Hsieh's book in NBS Bestsellers in Galleria. I hesitated on buying it, I decided to buy another book. It didn't appeal to me that instant. Then I got to read teeyah's blog post on the book, I got more intrigued. So, I bought one from my ever-reliable National Bookstore. (Yes, I can easily be influenced. Just like that. Hahaha!)

Anyway, thanks T for recommending a good read. :)

Any more good-reads to recommend? :)

Food. Food. Food

Nothing but a food post. :)

I had a heavy breakfast, so I had these for lunch. Yummy!

And the next day, I only had coffee for breakfast.
And this huge fish  fillet from Cajun Red Rock (in Galleria) for lunch, at 3pm!

Time is Black

I can't think of an appropriate and witty title. Hahaha!

It's not even November yet, but I'm quite sure someone's happy and can't stop staring at his wrist. :)

An advance happy birthday, indeed! :)

Sunday Brunch

Thanks to BPI's Jollibee promo, we had free brunch yesterday. :)

Promo's still ongoing, so swipe your BPI Express Teller ATMs, and Credit Cards to avail of free Jollibee food items. :)

John & Yoko

I'm not a fan of Japanese food.

But the boyfriend is. So, I bought a good deal from CashCashPinoy last month.

Php500 only for Php1000 worth of food and drinks at John & Yoko.

John & Yoko has a branch in Greenbelt 5.

We arrived 7ish, and it was jam-packed. We were 7th of the waiting list, but it took merely 10 minutes for us to get a table.

We were actually hesitant on using the voucher because we should consume Php1000 worth, and it might be too much for the two of us.

Surprisingly (really, we were surprised!), our bill was Php1200++. We shouldn't have ordered the drinks. Hahaha!

Here's what we had:

L-R: Ebi Tempura, Salmon in Wasabi Cream, Fried Maki
I forgot to take a picture of our drinks, but I had Strawberry Yakult, while the boyfriend had red iced tea (kalamansi).

Overall, food was okay. This is considering my first statement (I'm not a Jap food fan). We left John & Yoko with happy & full tummies. Hahaha!

Will I come back? Sure, if someone will treat me. Their prices are not that expensive naman. I just don't like the ambiance, the lighting was a bit dark for my taste.

Have you tried John & Yoko?

Continuing The Journey

Yes, I'm still on track. :)

Lost 10 lbs. already. (Yipee!)

Here's my current Mood Wall / Dream Board / Whatever-You-Call-It-Board :

Map-Reading

I just love these photos. :)

Current Book

I always use my iPhone when in transit. From our house to the office, or vice-versa. In the shuttle or in the bus. I know, I should be more cautious and careful next time. ;)

Surprisingly this morning, I didn't use my phone the whole time I was waiting in the FX terminal. Not even while stuck on traffic in Ortigas Ave..

Want to know why? Because I was so engrossed reading this book:

I bought this book from my ever-favorite store, National Bookstore. :)

I know I have a lot more to know about Marketing, the ins and outs, so I decide I'll start from here.

I am just on Page 20 (Yes, after almost an hour of reading.), because I am really munching on every word. Trying to understand what the phrases really means.

I hope I really learn a lot from this book. If I do, I'll definitely buy his other books. :)

How about you, what are you currently reading?

45 Things Most Girls Want, But Won't Ask For

Got this from a friend's post in FB. Almost everything is true. I'm happy to say that I have experienced some of these, still experiencing most. Thanks to the boyfriend. :)

45 THINGS A GIRL WANT, BUT WON'T ASK FOR:

1. Touch her waist.
2. Actually talk to her.
3. Share secrets with her.
4. Give her your jacket.
5. Kiss her slowly.

Are you remembering this?
6. Hug her.
7. Hold her.
8. Laugh with her.
9. Invite her somewhere.
10. Hangout with her and your friends together.

11. Smile with her.
12. Take pictures with her.
13. Pull her onto your lap.
14. When she says she loves you more, deny it. Fight back.
15. When her friends say “I love her more than you”, deny it. Fight back and hug her tight so she can’t get to her friends. It makes her feel loved.

16. Always hug her and say I love you whenever you see her.
17. Kiss her unexpectedly.
18. Hug her from behind around the waist.
19. Tell her she’s beautiful.
20. Tell her the way you feel about her.

21. Open doors for her, walk her to her car - it makes her feel protected, plus it never hurts to act like a gentleman.
22. Tell her she’s your everything - only if you mean it.
23. If it seems like there is something wrong, ask her - if she denies something being wrong, it means she doesn't want to talk about it - so just hug her.
24. Make her feel loved.
25. Kiss her in front of other girls you know!

26. Don’t lie to her.
27. Don't cheat on her.
28. Take her anywhere she wants.
29. Text message or call her in the morning and tell her have a good day at school, and how much you miss her.
30. Be there for her whenever she needs you, and even when she doesn’t need you, just be there so she’ll know that she can always count on you.

31. Hold her close when she’s cold so she can hold you too.
32. When you are alone hold her close and kiss her.
33. Kiss her on the cheek; (it will give her the hint that you want to kiss her).
34. While in the movies, put your arm around her and then she will automatically put her head on your shoulder, then lean in and tilt her chin up and kiss her lightly.
35. Don’t ever tell her to leave even jokingly or act like you’re mad. If she’s upset, comfort her.

36. When people diss her, stand up for her.
37. Look deep into her eyes and tell her you love her.
38. Lay down under the stars and put her head on your chest so she can listen to the steady beat of your heart, link your fingers together while you whisper to her as she rests her eyes and listens to you.
39. When walking next to each other grab her hand.
40. When you hug her, hold her in your arms as long as possible.

41. Call or text her at night to wish her sweet dreams.
42. Comfort her when she cries and wipe away her tears.
43. Take her for long walks at night.
44. Always remind her how much you love her.
45. Sit on top of her and tell her how much you love her and then bend down to her face and kiss her while you’re sitting on her.

You’ll never know when she needs just a little more love .. ♥!

Kikay Kit

I was in a hurry to dry my hair one morning at the gym (I was also wishing that I bought my hair dryer...), when I noticed that I had a lot of items in my gym kikay kit.

Well, my kit's really meant for travelling but since it was travel-friendly (due to its size), I might as well use the same in my gym bag, right? :)

For my hair, I recently bought a big L'Oreal shampoo (priced at P99).
And I also bought a smaller one, both the shampoo and conditioner (Php54-59)
I love how the packaging looks, but for two days parang may leak un shampoo.
I had to place both in a plastic to isolate them in my gym bag. Hahaha!
The L'Oreal Elseve hair frizz serum is used when I'm in the office na.

I love how this Pond's White Beauty Day Cream smells, so I bought the facial foam, too.
Do they have a night cream as well?
Because I've been using (IF I remember) this BB Night Cream for months already.
Dove Whitening Deodorant
Vaseline Total Moisture Lotion
Colgate Plax Mouthwash
Calgon Morning Glory
Razor (for unwanted hair -- if tweezers can't do the job. Hahaha!)
Band-aids (for paltos and other gasgas that usually gets to me without me knowing)
Cotton, Cotton Buds & Nail File (took this home from a recent trip)
Nail cutter (I always break a nail)
Disposable Undies (Naaliw lang ako when I saw this in SG. Cute ng packing, diba?)
How about you, what's in your kikay kit? :)

All About TV

TV Series, that is.

I don't watch the television that much anymore, but I'm usually infront of my laptop or glued to my iPhone, watching my fave US TV Series.

Ooh, it's such a jam-packed September (and the coming months) as I download the latest episodes from these series. Thank you, eztv for keeping me up to date. (But sadly, your site has been down these past few days)

Anyway, I can't wait to watch the 2nd episodes of my ultimate faves (Yes, second. Because I've already seen almost all the firsts...)

Here are some of my old faves:

I missed Richard Castle and Agent Beckett.
Quite a tandem, but I'm glad they're back!

I know this isn't the official poster.
It doesn't even bear the title (Covert Affairs),
but doesn't Auggie look hot? :)

I wonder what other twists they can inject to make Wisteria Lane more interesting :)
Desperate Housewives

Where is Peter Bishop?

I love the McDreamy's collage! :)

Slowly losing interest on this one,
but still I've downloaded the three episodes already

Funny. Happy. I love them all!

Speechless. White Collar.
And the new TV series I've recently discovered, which seems interesting...

It seems to be the regular sitcom tandem.
Blonde-Brunette
Rich Girl-Poor Girl
For the first two episodes, I had a good laugh :)
I don't know about this one.
But movies or shows with stewardess and a lot of travelling excites me a bit. :)

Starring Summer (from 500 Days of Summer)
Episode 1 was entertaining.

I love the plot!
I think I may have a new favorite lead star (Amanda/Emily)

Upon googling an image of The Lying Game,
did I only find out that it was based on Sara Shepard's book (of the same title)
*Shepard wrote Pretty Little Liars book series
On top of a handful of TV series, I download a lot more!
CSI. CSI Miami. CSI New York. Parenthood. Awkward. Vampire Diaries. The Secret Circle. The Good Wife. Pretty Little Liars.

Ok, this have been a long photo-blog but I'm sure you got a bit excited too. So, let's start downloading! :)

Take A Tour

Showing you Peach Natalie's favorite corners in our house. :)

Clockwise from Upper Right Corner
Under the Green Chair (with the In/Out tray as her bed)
On top of the laundry bin
On top of our clean & folded clothes in the laundry bin
In R's bed, with R's blanket and pillow.

First Time, Chatime

Being the non-tea drinker that I am,
I opted for a sweet and fruity Strawberry Slush :)

I took a sip from T's Pearl Milk Tea, but really didn't like it. It's so not me. Hahaha!

Am I the only person in this tea-drinking-metro who doesn't like tea?

5 Things I'm Thankful For #25

It's been almost a month since I last listed down my "5 Things I'm Thankful For".

It was quite a rough month for me. September that is.

But nevertheless, I had some fun with friends. I enjoyed going back to the gym. I was a bit creative in having healthier meals. And to end my one-rough-month, a great date with the boyfriend. :)

Here goes my recent list:

1. J. Despite being miles away, we still got in touch. I know that no matter what, I can always count on you. Thank you also for making me analyze and understand my September. :)

2. T, G and A. You have been my constant weekend companions. Thanks for keeping me company. Special mention to the guys, who braved the cinemas with me to catch Zombadings. Hahaha!

3. Anne & Cristine. Yes, first-name-basis kami. Hahaha! Thanks for making me smile and laugh. And for at least helping me forget my worries even for two hours. :)

4. No one, or nothing in particular. But I am thankful for keeping Cainta, especially our village safe when Pedring hit last Tuesday. :)

5. X. Thank you. :)

It's been raining the whole afternoon, I hope it stops soon. I am very eager to start my October work-month tomorrow. :)

Enjoy the remaining hours of your weekend, dear readers. :)
